When You Look Into My Eyes

When you look into my eyes, tell me what do you see?
Do you see all the fears I hide?
Or just me?
Can you see all the tears I cried?
Or do you just see plain ol me

Can you see a person with hopes and dreams?
Or do you only see me?
Maybe, just maybe you see a scared little girl who's
falling apart at the seams
Longing to break free.

Are you able to see all the times I tried and failed and felt as though my world came crashing down?
Then can you see all the times you would make me laugh and without a doubt my problems seemed to fade away?
It was as if my face never knew a frown.
What do you see when you look into my eyes, why won't you say?

Can you see how much I love you?
That you're the one I adore?
There's no one else above you
Need I say more?

Can you see a soul longing to be free?
Trying to figure out God's plan for my life?
Or do you once again only see me?
Please tell me, don't cause anymore strife

Maybe one day you'll look into my eyes and see my soul
Then maybe you'll realize
I'm a child at heart,
I am more than what you see
I'm all this and more; See my eyes will tell the story of my life
Every time you look into my eyes.
